Nervous for Today – Fighting

I’m sitting here at Starbucks, waiting for the carpool to arrive to take us to set. I’m finding myself getting more and more nervous for today. Today I am shooting an action film in the forest, where I will be giving and receiving punches and kicks.

The director and everybody knows that I am expecting, so that I need to be careful, but I can’t help but be nervous reading through the script again.

I’m going to do everything possible to be safe today and to take it easy, but it’s going to take some major creativity to make something look impressive but also limited.

I’d tell you what movie it is, but then I would have to kill you. No I’m kidding… then you would just find out who I am.

UPDATE!

Okay, the shoot went swimmingly! Everyone on set was wonderful, nice and accommodating. All my stunts were easy, no rolling, kicks or anything near my stomach. I am so tired because the sun just took everything from me. Going to rest a few days before getting back on set for another film.
